Fall A/C 2026 - Access Information

Welcome students! For those enrolled in a course for the Fall A/C semester, access to your Canvas courses will be available on the first day of class - Monday, August 24, 2026. For important dates and deadlines, please consult your class schedule via my.fiu.edu or the FIU Academic Calendar. If you would like to learn more about how to use Canvas, you can join our live student Canvas trainings at the start of each semester.

FIU Canvas Planned Maintenance on August 16

On August 16th, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET, the FIU Canvas team will perform a planned maintenance on FIU Canvas. During the maintenance window, no Canvas downtime is expected, and users can still access the Canvas environment. After the maintenance, Canvas mobile app users will be required to re-authenticate.
