Modifications to FIU Canvas Help Hours for the 2023 Winter Holidays

 Please be advised that there will be changes to the operating hours and services provided by the FIU Canvas Help team during the 2023 winter holidays. In-person support will not be available during the following modified hours.

The following are the FIU Canvas Help hours of availability:

• From December 22 to 24 and December 26 to 31, 2023, FIU Canvas Help will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET via phone, live chat, as well as  faculty and student case support.
• FIU Canvas Help will be closed on December 25, 2023, and January 1, 2024.
• Ed Tech Services (ETS) will follow the university closure dates and their normal operations are set to resume on January 2, 2024. 

On the days that FIU Canvas Help is closed, Instructure Canvas Support will be available via phone, live chat, and case support. However, please note that Instructure Canvas phone support will not be available on Sunday, December 25, 2023.

FIU Login Page Maintenance on December, 12th, 2023

On Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m., DoIT will be performing scheduled maintenance on FIU's Login Page (login.fiu.edu). Accordingly, services that use FIU's login page for authentication such as MyFIU and Canvas may be intermittently unavailable during this time. If you experience any issues after the maintenance, please contact the IT Support Center online at askit.fiu.edu or by calling 305.348.2284 during their normal working hours (8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday through Friday).

Honorlock Maintenance December 12th, 2023

As part of our continuous efforts to help improve the learning experience via FIU Canvas, we are excited to announce that we are upgrading Honorlock on December 15th, 2023 from 5 AM to 6 AM EST. During this time the Honorlock tool will not be available for users.

Spring A/C 2024 - Access information

Welcome. For those enrolled in a course for the Spring A/C 2024 semester, access to your Canvas courses will be available on the first day of class - Monday, January 8th, 2024. For important dates and  deadlines please consult your class schedule via my.fiu.edu or the FIU Academic Calendar.
