Welcome, students! For those enrolled in a course for the Summer A/C semester, access to your Canvas courses will be available on the first day of class — Monday, May 12, 2025. On Saturday, April 26th from 8:00pm to Sunday April 27th 4:00am ET, the FIU Canvas Team will be performing a scheduled upgrade to the following integrations found in Canvas. During this window, the following applications will be affected:
These applications will be accessible once again when the upgrade is complete. If you experience any issues after the maintenance, please contact the FIU Canvas Help team below.
FIU Canvas Help services will be unavailable on May 1, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am ET, due to a department-wide training that is taking place. Students and faculty may still submit an FIU-specific request via our Canvas Help website and we will reply and assist you on May 1, 2025 at 11:00am.
The FIU Ed Tech Services team will be available to assist in-person modality courses from 9:00am to 5:00pm ET.
Instructure Canvas Support will continue to be available throughout the day via phone, live chat, and ticket support by using the “Help” menu found inside Canvas.
On Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00am to 6:00am ET, we will be removing the 1.1 version of the Marketplace Simulations integration within FIU Canvas. During this time, Marketplace Simulations may not be available in Canvas. If you would like to learn more about Marketplace Simulations, please review the Marketplace Simulation Instructor Article or the Marketplace Simulation Student Article.

A new version of the Cengage integration, Cengage LTI Advantage, will be available in academic Canvas in preparation for the Summer 2025 semester. The installation of this upgrade will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 8:00am to 9:00am ET, and the automatic migration of content will take place over several days.
